If you want to have the most amazing Florence trip, SKIP this place! The waiter was so rude to me and my friends, it’s unbelievable. I have never encountered such a hostile environment from someone who should be welcoming and hospitable. He also used abusive language. Despicable
Underated place to eat. Food was really good and prices very reasonable. Lots of people saying the servive was poor and they were rude...these people take themselves too seriously. We were given a glass of prosecco as we waited for our table and we found it hilarious how blunt the waiter was...he was definitely putting it on and we loved it. A great dining experience
Gustapanino is a place that should be LEFT OUT of ALL your meal plans. The service was outrageously bad and the waiter was extremely rude. If you want a wholesome experience in Florence, exclude this one!
A super amazing place in one of the most active squares of Florence. Amazing food, amazing prices. Good vibes, good service.
Correct place, service and foods are good with normal price!
The staff were amazing! Super friendly, zen and funny. We had a great time and the food was excellent!
Unsure how this is below 4.5 on Google. Food fantastic, service brilliant.
Unfriendly, unprofessional - this restaurant can ruin your night!
Delicious food, super service with an Italian temper. Gotta love it. Special thanks to Donatella, our gorgeous waitress. Have fun in Amsterdam in January! Go for lunch and/or dinner. The terrace is cosy on a beautiful square. Firenze, I love you. ❤️
Great customer service and delicious food :) ❤️
Great food, very nice service.
*BEST TRATTORIA IN OLTRARNO*The service was impeccable. While waiting I was offered an appetitive and the food was par excellence! They were kind enough to offer me a Limoncello with the bill! The best Trattoria in Town!
Reasonable selection of food and wine
Possibly one of the best sandwich places in town! Love their spicy Chicken Burger - "The Calabro" !! try it out :))
Pasta with wild boar ragout was great. The ravioli with pumkin and filling were ok, not more. The location is nice, a bit more quiet.
Beautiful food, excellent service! Love the handwritten desert menu, adds a personal touch. Highly recommended the strawberry tarte :)
Really good dishes. Real Italian flavors. But on the other hand the two waitresses we had were really rude for all guests. We should have left like many others but we decided to stay.... These two ladies really should learn that customers are not them ... I could really advise the place but they do not deserve for this.
The dishes were good, but be prepared to check how much you pay, because the food price was wrongly accounted. Also, be prepared for the additional cost for the seats, fork and knife, etc.
Lovely place, very friendly owners and the sandwiches are amazing 👌
One of my best "lasagne" experience in Italy. Smelt in die mond lekker :-)
Got the worst prawns in my life here. Overcooked and tasteless. The 3 others got decent food. When asked for the bill the waiter forgot me and I had to go inside to pay to be able to leave. Will never eat here again and if you do, do not order prawns!
Great food, lovely atmosphere and terrace (with patio heaters!) in a lovely square. Not too touristy! Very friendly service.
Would recommend steering clear of this place - burger was undercooked (raw in the middle), pasta was tasteless (our group tried the risotto, spaghetti, and macaroni), and the service was subpar
Good food with a very local atmosphere with all people around, we liked it very much!
This place deserves a far better rating. The food was fantastic and the service was fast and friendly. We loved it here. Simple and relaxed.
Horrible hospitality. No recommendation.
Great experience! We beat the rush arriving at 7:30. Lots of delicious vegetarian options. We sat outside and had a great time and wonderful food! The walnut gnocchi was amazing!
I love this place! I ate there all the time while studying abroad in college and was happy to see it was still there with the same food several years later. I love the turkey, pesto, tomato and motzerella! Great place to grab a quick bite to take away (I like to eat it on the steps to the church outside). Great food and very cheap bite to eat.
Rude service and mediocre (pasta) to bad (Caesar salad) food. Don't understand the good reviews... Perhaps it's different at lunch.
This was our favorite place and Francesca was the best server. Not your tourist trap restaurant. Try the salad with Bresola meat and the Eggplant was to die for... Sorry Francesca for the blowing hair photo!
Really rude staff and the food is NOTHING LIKE ITALIAN. There are many many nicer places. You do not need to go here and let you treat like you are invading their restaurant. Really unfriendly and really unpleasant. Your time in Florence is too precious to waste it in this restaurant. The head waitress seems stressed out and the food is nothing like Italian!!
The food here is excellent and the owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. I ate here several nights with my family and the food was fantastic!!! I tried the stake the salmon, eggplant parmigiana, even my daughter’s Berger. everything was top notch. Oh did I mention the cheesecake was the best and I’m from New York.
Great food, nice setting, great place to get away from the tourist traps
My first disappointing food experience in Florence. Caprese salad tasted worse than I'd get back home in the U.S. (and that's saying something!), and the aperol spritz was flat (they forgot to add both soda water and prosecco). Upon sending the food back, they presented me with a full check and a shrug and a "sorry", and being a tourist I of course paid. Location is likely the only reason this place gets business.
Meet was overcooked. Nice outside tables.
Fine food, but extremely rude service. I am offended by the way the waiter treated me. Without invitation, he spoke in rushed Italian and claimed I could not understand because it was my second language. He was extremely condescending and I am very upset. There are plenty of other restaurants in the piazza that do not rush you out before 11:30.
The staff were very rude. They mocked my friend for her politeness, and did nothing when the chair of one of their guests broke. They just watched on as he struggled. There are so many lovely places to eat in Florence, so would recommend you go elsewhere.
Bad service (took forever to get a drink) and very overpriced. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere nicer, Florence is full of better places.
Been to Florence three times, been to Gustapanino three times. We love it! Especially the honey and cheese - so simple, yet so delicious. Never had any problems with the staff, always very welcoming and good humoured.
From the beginning it was amazing. Francesca and Queeny treated me like family and I couldn't ask for a better meal alone. It's places like this, people like them, and food this amazing that make me fall in love with Florence all over again
OMG one of the best restaurant excellent food good service and affordable prices clean bathroom and nice patio
My vet pays more attention to my dog than service in that restaurant. Food ok, but waitress very ignoring and we felt worse than in McDonald. Avoid, it can spoil your evening.
Traditional Italian and delicious
Friendly staff with a very cozy comfortable seating. Good food with an extensive menu.
Very tasty food with decent sized portions. Although it was busy the staff were attentive and efficient.
Little restaurant with simple delicious food, beautiful terrace at Piazza San Spirito and absolute attentive and friendly service. Loved the interior with the mix of paintings and wood. I happen to be by myself and ended up eating with the owner and a friend of him, so felt like being part of the family and was very happy to have good company. Will definitely return when back in Florence!:)
Bad food, terrible service
The best dinner of our time in Florence. The staff were funny, gracious, and kind. The food was outstanding.
The food was so good, and the owner and his staff so delightful, that we broke one of our "rules" when travelling and ate dinner there twice. My Face Book post read: "Dinner. I'm sorry Grandma, may your soul rest in peace, this ravioli is better than yours."
This restaurant should have a higher rating. The service was so friendly and helpful. I ordered the Bolognese ragu di carne and it was outstanding. Order the house wine. You won't be disappointed.
